At Home With Diversity (AHWD) is a NAR certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. Since 1998, the At Home With Diversity program has prepared over 20,000 REALTORS® to work effectively with and within today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. The At Home with Diversity course addresses the topics of diversity, fair housing, and business planning development.
Why I chose this designation
Nearly 1000 people move to Florida every day. It is a staggering statistic. That brings buyers and ultimately sellers, that are from areas with different cultural needs and different real estate regulations. In Sarasota and Manatee counties approximately 1 in 4 sales is to an international buyer bring additional complexity to the sale. By studying and understanding different cultures, and having resources available I am able to help customers navigate the complex selling process and help them buy and sell with confidence.
