The Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation is for REALTORS® who want to be able to meet the special needs of maturing Americans when selling, buying, relocating, or refinancing residential or investment properties. By earning the SRES® designation, REALTORS® are prepared to approach mature clients with the best options and information for them to make life-changing decisions.
Why I chose this designation
Florida is pretty much at the top of every list of great places to retire. With so many retirees or nearing retirement buyers heading to Florida, and sellers who have been here for years but find themselves with different needs now, it was important to me to understand and be able to address each of their requirements. I can suggest housing alternatives and help family members who may be tasked with helping buy or sell and yet they live in another area. I use a no-pressure approach to offer advice and help customers feel comfortable with the complex selling process.
Clients age 50+ may be facing major financial and lifestyle transitions when relocating, refinancing or selling the family home. As a SRES I have the necessary knowledge & expertise to counsel them through this process. I am also part of the SRES network and can assist in finding others who specialize in Senior Services.
